Marcus Hedberg

Marcus' research area is a part of the European research project ASGARD in which Calmers participates as one of 16 participants. Marcus research focuses on the production and dissolution of metal nitride based nuclear fuel. Nitride based nuclear fuels is one of the candidates that exists for potential fuel in future generation IV liquid metal cooled fast neutron reactors. Marcus research in production of metal nitrides is primarily focused on a wet chemical synthesis route, starting from solutions of metal oxides.
