Mohammadreza Alizadehheidari is a PhD student in Fredrik Westerlund’s group at the Division of Chemical Biology since September 2012. He is focusing his research on utilization of nanofluidics with fluorescent microscopy for studies of DNA at single molecule level. In the studies, Mohammadreza investigates DNA-protein complexes, enabling new possibility to probe any DNA-binding protein that affects the physical properties of DNA.
