Swapnil Vilas Dhamal

Post doc at Physical Resource Theory

Swapnil Dhamal is a postdoctoral researcher as part of the Synthetic Population project. The goal is to use agent-based modeling to study the transformative changes in mobility owing to emergence of electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and shared mobility. His focus will be on creating a synthetic population based on the real population data, and proposing new infrastructure and policies as part of improving the design and planning of environment-friendly transportation. The resulting reduction in energy use and greenhouse gas emissions will have short-term as well as long-term benefits to our society and planet.
