Shipping post-corona
Research Project, 2020 – 2021

The project provides an overview of how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected shipping focusing supply chains and preconditions for shipping as part of the wider transport system. It provides knowledge about long time planning but also a snapshot of what has happened during the pandemic. It includes a qualitative analysis of the effects and counter-measures by firms and governments during the immediate phase as well as during the recovery period. Furthermore, the project addresses likely mid- and long-term effects on shipping’s role in the overall transport system.
