Ceren Altuntas Vural
Ceren Altuntas Vural is an Associate Professor at the Division of Supply and Operations Management. Prior to her academic career, she has worked for the container transportation and logistics industry for nearly 7 years. She has received her PhD at Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey and has been working as a lecturer, tenured assistant professor and an associate professor since then. She worked on industrial service design at freight villages during her PhD and focused on logistics service providers as the potential customers of freight villages. Her research interests also include sustainable supply chain management, b2b marketing and networks, sustainability both with the environmental dimension and the social dimension. Apart from the CSR research, her focus is on logistics and maritime transportation industries. She teaches Sustainable Supply Chains and Transport and Distribution Economics courses at Chalmers University of Technology. She is also guest lecturing on sustainable supply chains and maritime transportation in several courses.
