Energy performance and occupant satisfaction in green-certified office buildings
Research Project, 2021

The overarching goal of the project is to improve building energy performance and occupant experience and satisfaction in future sustainable building energy systems and better meet the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially goal 3 on good health and well-being. The objectives include: reflect on green building design and operation and occupant satisfaction and experience in the “real world”; explore the potential causes from the detailed design parameters, necessary conditions in the building certification scheme and building operation and control. This pilot project is an extension of an ongoing Formas project, “Occupant well-being and productivity in sustainable office buildings”, led by the main applicant.
