Vehicle On-board storage integrating Liquid ANd compressed hydrogen Tanks (VOLANT)
Research Project, 2022 – 2023

Here we chracterise thin ply based CFRP and develop material models for a highly crack resistant composite material with an increased fatigue tolerance. The material will be used for lightweight tanks for liquid hydrogen storage in aircraft and heavy trucks.
