Data-driven Nutrition 4 Personalized Prevention

Purpose and goal
The aim is to establish the consortium and to co-develop a competitive application for the Horizon Europe call “Personalised prevention of non-communicable diseases - addressing areas of unmet needs using multiple data sources”. Our proposal is aimed to develop, integrate, and test personalized approaches to optimize a healthy and sustainable Nordic diet to provide effective long-term weight management and to lower the risk of noncommunicable diseases in the European population.

Expected results and effects
We will establish an international research consortium and submit an excellent application for step 1 of the Horizon Europe call. The application will be competitive based on our innovative and well-developed research idea and the aims of the proposal, which has been jointly refined and targeted towards the call, the state of the art and structure of each work package and the joint expertise of the appointed work-packages leaders and the committed academic, health care and industrial partners.
