Drop wise
Research Project, 2025
– 2026
The Droppvis project aims to contribute to more sustainable water use by influencing our everyday habits. The focus is on testing nudging – a method that shapes our choices through the way information is presented, without reducing freedom of choice. This could involve showing people how much water they use compared to their neighbors, or sending reminders about water conservation during dry periods.
The project is being carried out in Norrtälje Municipality, where water consumption rises sharply in the summer due to tourism and seasonal residents. Here, different nudging strategies are tested in practice, and the results are compared with a control group.
