Innovative powder based manufacturing of gear wheels with high performance (HIPGEAR)
Research Project, 2014 – 2017

Strong driving forces exist to increase the performance and resource efficiency in manufacturing of gear wheels for truck applications. This project will develop an innovative technology based on powder metallurgy and hot isostatic pressing (HIP). A gear wheel for demonstration will be selected in the project.
