Local green transition
Research Project, 2016 – 2018

In this project we will model how different activities at the municipal level impact consumers´ drivers for green transition. The central question is how municipalities, on their own or together, and their public servants through information, knowledge and support activities can contribute to an increase of citizens will and drivers for investment in technologies contributing to green transition: electric and biogas vehicles, solar photovoltaics and phasing out of oil for heating. A system dynamics model representing different stakeholders will be developed, and these stakeholders and the actions transition and cost efficiency will be model in order to investigate how the various actions interact and counteract each other, and thus how a local green transition effectively can be supported.
