Opportunities and restrictions for own use of PV electricity i Västra Gårdsten
Research Project, 2016
– 2017
Existing local electric grids, connections and contracts in existing residential building areas are designed to supply electricity to the buildings. Proper placing of PV systems on, and suitable use of PV electricity in, buildings are often restricted by local grid designs, connections (placing) and contracts (size, type), as well as grid and tax laws. The project comprises an extended cooperation between Building Services Engineering, Göteborg Energi and Gårdstensbostäder, about how different contracts, grid and tax laws, building types (roofs, distances), electricity use and storage, influences the possibilities to use PV electricity in typical existing residential building areas.
