Marina droners with extreme persistence for more powerful monitoring of the marine environment

We demonstrate the use of autonomous platforms / drunks at sea to make measurements and observations in the marina environment. The vessels allow sustained efforts with little staff effort. We demonstrate that resource-efficient, fast and sustainable Efforts can provide real-time observations of critical environmental and security factors. Measurements and observations of the marine environment are crucial for a wide range of needs owners. These include researchers, operational forecasts, commercial actors in marine industries (shipping, offshore, aquaculture, tourism, etc.), as well as actors with responsibility for monitoring and security (police, maritime rescue, coast guard, Armed Forces, etc.) Several need owners in society today requires increased efforts. Conventional methods, based on manned ships, will not be possible road, due to costs and other restrictions. In order to increase the measurements of measurements and observations, it is therefore necessary to increase use of autonomous platforms. Our project aims at showing the flexibility of existing autonomous platforms operating on the sea surface, and how these through Intelligent and innovative solutions can be developed to greatly enhance our ability to monitor the marine environment. We assume three different types of drones / platforms. The different capabilities of platforms allow us to develop and demonstrate several different conceptual efforts, including scientific measurements and environmental monitoring, monitoring of facilities and areas, drone assistants assist other druners, efforts with drones in heavily transported waters, etc.
