Research Project, 2019
– 2020
Coworking spaces have changed the nature of work. Enabled by digital technology, it provides flexibility to work anywhere anytime with the possibilities of networking and collaborations. For building owners, it opens a new possibility to utilize their spaces and facilities to the fullest capacity. For the knowledge workers, this creates not only a cost-efficient workplace without having to own and maintain it themselves, but also possibility to work nearer to home in an inspiring, creative, and productive environment. It eliminates the need to traverse the urban environment especially for those who live far away from their offices. The need for coworking spaces is growing globally. Here, it is important to understand what drives users’ satisfaction in coworking spaces. Why do they choose one over the other? Simply put, what is quality in coworking spaces? We will adopt quality management approach for understanding this phenomenon and further use the knowledge for identifying improvement areas of space-sharing service offering.
