IN2SMART2 - Robotic Platform
Research Project, 2020 – 2021

The project IN2SMART-2 ROBOTIC PLATFORM is designed to develop a motor-driven vehicle for autonomous driving on the railway, in order to inspect and collect data in connection with preventive railway maintenance. The conditions for also being able to carry out certain maintenance measures autonomously or semi-autonomously with the platform should also be examined. Before the end of the project, the platform will be tested and demonstrated on the right railway in Sweden.

The project has the potential to save costs in the 100-millionth scale annually, only in Sweden, through preventative measures and streamlining of inspection and maintenance measures.
