6G Artificial Intelligence Radar
Research Project, 2021 – 2023

Our main research hypothesis is that 6G will be the first generation of mobile communication that can meet the very strict requirements of automotive radar applications (resolution, range, rate, interference robustness), enable novel radar-based applications (e.g., cooperative augmented reality and data sharing) by exploiting the inherent communication properties of 6G.

To fully harness these properties and deal with the rich and abundant data provided by 6G systems, new models and methods need to be developed. AI solutions form a natural approach to obtain near-optimal solutions with manageable complexity.
