The project aims at an increased understanding of how catalytic bed material works in gasification plants for woody fuels. Models will be created that descibes how the different components in the bed material is contributing for the degradation of tar in the product gas. An increased understanding may lead to an increased catalytic efficiency of the bed materials and thereby lower costs for the gasification process.
