Pavleta Knutsson
Dr. Pavleta Knutsson is a project leader at the department of Environmental and Inorganic chemistry. Her work is towards active bed materials that can be used for optimizing the combustion and gasification process in industrial units. The goal is to find material that can be used as oxygen carriers through screening of synthesized materials, natural minerals as well as byproducts from other processes. In the screening process the focus is put on the ash-bed material interactions as well as on the possibility to catalytically activate the materials.
