Optimization of Low-Complexity Pilot-Based DSP for High Spectral Efficiency 51×24Gbaud PM-64QAM Transmission
Paper in proceeding, 2018

We implement a low-complexity pilot-based DSP and propose an overhead-throughput optimization method using achievable information rate. The optimization enables state-of-the-art spectral efficiency of 9.3 (8.3) bits/s/Hz with combined throughput of 11.9 (10.6) Tb/s after 480 (960) km of SSMF transmission with EDFA-only amplification.
