Application of the Hilbert Transform for Diagnostic and Control in Crushing

This paper aims to adapt a Hilbert transform to characterise the pressure variations in actual crushers during operation and to set up potential strategies for quantifying the variation. Two applications are also proposed for how this could be used in operation to compensate for the disturbances from unwanted loading conditions that affect the crusher performance.
