Gauti Asbjörnsson
Since 2010, Gauti Asbjörnsson has been a member of the Chalmers Rock Process Systems which is a part of the department of Product and Production Development with the focus on dynamic crushing plant simulation. With the dynamic simulator the aim is to improve the qualitative information for plant performance evaluation, support operator training and enable control algorithm optimization. With these different aims the general purpose is to provide a simulation tool which better represents the actual process than is available on the market today. Gauti plays an active part in two of the fundamental courses during the start of the Mechanical Engineering program. These courses are Machine Elements, and the Integrated Design and Manufacturing (IKOT) which are taught during the first and second year. Additionally Gauti is a member of the Global Comminution Collaborative (GCC)
