Ilker Erdem focuses on research about providing alternative solutions to current tooling technologies. In his research, he aims to develop new fixturing techniques complemented with robotics and intelligence that will provide flexibility to future's production sites. His main interests are fixturing applications, parallel and hybrid kinematics machines, software development for production automation.
