Spiralled periodically poled thin-film lithium niobate for compact and efficient second-harmonic generation

We present 3.5 mm long spiralled periodically poled waveguides for ultracompact second-harmonic generation in z-cut thin-film lithium niobate. We measure a conversion efficiency of up to 800 %W-1cm-2 on an area of 500 x 500 µm2.
