Delio Jaramillo Velez

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, in the Communication Systems Group within the Department of Electrical Engineering. My primary responsibilities include conducting research on fairness and privacy in machine learning and artificial intelligence. In 2022, I served as a visiting professor at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. My academic journey began at the University of Antioquia, Colombia, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Subsequently, I pursued a master’s degree in Mathematics at CIMAT and a PhD in Mathematics at CINVESTAV in Mexico. My research interests span Coding Theory, Algebraic Geometry, Algebraic Combinatorics, and Machine Learning.
