Prediktion av anisotropi- och skadeutveckling i polymerskum
Forskningsprojekt, 2023
– 2025
The current project aims to develop a multiscale modelling strategy that is able to predict two things: 1) the nonlinear behaviour of polymer foams under forming at elevated temperature, and 2) the evolution of cell morphology and damage and enable that these factors are efficiently accounted for when predicting the final performance of a finished sandwich panel. In addition, to promote sustainability, it is also of interest to investigate the effect from combining partly new material with partly recycled material, which could generate even more anisotropic or “unexpected” behaviour.
