Martin Fagerström

Biträdande professor vid Material- och beräkningsmekanik

Martin Fagerström är biträdande professor i Computational Fracture Mechanics och docent i hållfasthetslära. Han forskar kring material- och strukturmekanik med fokus på modell- och metodutveckling för att beskriva skade- och brottprocesser i lättviktsmaterial, främst för fiberförstärkta polymerer. Tillämpningen av hans forskning är bred, inkluderande allt från fordonssäkerhet till idrott och hälsa.

Martin Fagerström är vice styrkeområdesledare för styrkeområdet Hälsa och Teknik, och också koordinator för Chalmers satsning inom sportteknologi, Chalmers Sports & Technology.
