Energieffektivitetsanalys för samexisterande delade och elektriska mikromobilitetssystem
Forskningsprojekt, 2024
– 2025
Electric micromobility systems are gaining popularity and dominating the global market for shared micromobility. The increase in prominence is accompanied by raised concerns, such as safety risks and disruption of public space. Treatments and regulations are thus under continuous development to make e-bikes/e-scooters more organized and safer for citizens. As a means of electromobility, however, the energy perspective has been curiously neglected despite its importance. To this end, the objective of the project is to develop novel methods and practical tools for assessing the energy sustainability of co-existing shared electric micromobility services based on field data. In this increasingly significant field, this project is essential for providing critical insights into the current state of micromobility operations, paving the way for informed decision-making, and enabling future research on efficient usage of energy. Total funding: 920,000 SEK.
