Hur delad laddning kan stötta transitionen till ett elektrifierat transportsystem
Forskningsprojekt, 2024

This project is strategically designed to yield a high-impact publication, targeting the journal Research Policy (AJG 4) which is one of the most prestigious journals in the field of management and policy research. We have, during the last 3 years, collected data from multiple actor groups with a focus on their transition to electromobility, focusing on the critical issue of charging infrastructure capacities, and the potential for actors to share charging infrastructure. The benefits of sharing are multiple, including economic, environmental, and societal. We have unique data from a variety of actor groups that can push the borders of our understanding and make a contribution in the interdisciplinary fields of transport, management and policy. These actor groups have invested in charging infrastructure and want to share it, and include: (i) public healthcare organizations (hospital, healthcare centers, etc.), (ii) public bus transport (Västtrafik, operators, Volvo buses), (iii) freight transport companies (multiple firms), (iv) facility owners (public and private), and (v) intermediaries (organizations providing charging, but not using it). The project aims to investigate how multiple actors can collaboratively share charging infrastructure, which innovative business models are needed for sharing, and which are the regulatory obstacle to overcome for promoting sharing charging infrastructure. The project will provide us with dedicated time to analyze and synthesize the data in-depth, identify potentially relevant actor groups missing, collect additional needed data, and consequently, develop a high impact contribution aimed at the journal of Research Policy.
