Supporting sustainability transition in the energy sector with innovative design training? Developing methods to support transition practices through collaborative research
Forskningsprojekt, 2017
Complex societal challenges related to e.g. energy, climate, safety and health require creativity and multi-disciplinary collaboration to be handled, but for organizations as well as individuals it can be difficult to break path-dependent thinking and bridge diverging perspectives.
While many organizations in different sectors are currently exploring how they can transform business models and innovation practices to become more sustainable, few studies in the field of innovation management have looked at such transition practices in-depth, how they develop over time, and what methods or tools can be used to support such a transformation.
The aim of the project is to explore the role of research-based training for innovative design in the development of transition practices in the energy sector.
