JUP ZERO.8 is assessing and verifying the benefits to the society and the sea of all the efforts the industry is conducting in different projects on the Zero Vision Tool platform.
The JUP is comparing and calculating the benefits both before and after the solution is installed/delivered.
 
The areas that are & will be included: 
 
• Air Emissions
• Water Discharge
• Modal shift / reverse shift
• Safety / risk
• Noise
• Job opportunities

 
The efforts in the projects on the Zero Vision Tool platform often goes beyond legislation and the work of this group also generate proposals for necessary and desired research in this area. 
The first calculations are made on the Joint Industry Projects  6-7 Methanol, Scrubber Installation Challenges, Flexi, LNG CONV, LNG Sea River and LNG4Solution.
