Visualisering av energianvändning i lokaler
Forskningsprojekt, 2017
Many owners of non-residential buildings have expressed a need for better ways to engage their tenants and to create incentives for them to reduce their share of the building's energy use by means of visualising it to the tenants to raise their understanding of their own share of the total. Starting point for the development based on a literature study was the hypothesis that building energy use will increase and lead to smarter, more efficient use of energy with reduced energy consumption through transparent communication. One of the project outcomes is the energy app ’Current’, designed in collaboration with professional consultant. Current allows property owners to transparently communicate energy consumption to their tenants and provides them at the same time with knowledge, support and practical demonstration in how to proceed when communicating energy with their tenants.
