The Economic Impacts of Innovations: Transport Case Studies in Technology and Policies
Forskningsprojekt, 2019
– 2020
This proposal aims to examine the economic impacts of innovations in transport. We will work within two distinct study areas: the first is to conduct economic studies looking at the global impacts of Swedish innovation in low-carbon transport technology and policy measures. This will involve reviews, conceptual discussions, and method critique of how to estimate the global impacts of Swedish innovation. The second case study is to propose methods to examine the economic impacts of changes in congestions patterns due to autonomous vehicles (AVs). This proposal fits into two of the three prioritized area of AoA Transport: Autonomous transport, and Transition to the transport system of the future.
