The Meeple Like Us (MLU) project aims to identify problems with inaccessibility in board games across a large number of factors. A certain family of games, known as skill games, perform extremely poorly in these assessments and there is little evidence that it can be handled at the design or publishing level. These games emphasize flicking, balancing and precise focus and changing any of these elements has a negative impact on how fun a game can be.
