3-D time-reversal method in microwave hyperthermia

In this paper, we present a 3-D time-reversal focusing technique for hyperthermia treatment of deep seated tumors. This method which was previously presented in 2-D1, is fast and applicable to continuous and pulsed waves. The aim is to introduce the 3-D time-reversal treatment planning and to compare it with the 2-D case in terms of their corresponding performance indicators computed in a tongue tumor.
