Adaptive finite element methods for small strain elasto-plasticity

We prove a posteriori error estimates for a finite element method for small strain elasto-plasticity based on Hencky's and Prandtl-Reuss' flow rules, and formulate corresponding adaptive methods. We also present the results of some numerical experiments.
