Stable soliton comb from dual ring microresonators
Paper i proceeding, 2023

In recent years, frequency combs have raised growing interest thanks to the increasing number of applications, ranging from astronomy[1], to telecommunications[2]. To this regard, microresonator-based frequency combs represent an attractive alternative to mode-locked lasers, due to their larger comb line spacing and lower power threshold. However, the stability of these combs depends on the detuning of the laser with respect to the resonance frequency, input power variation and thermal drift.
