PEDESTRIAN STUDY AT CHALMERS. PEDESTRIAN MOVEMENT AND CO-PRESENCE AT CAMPUS JOHANNEBERG
Rapport, 2020

The document summarises a study on pedestrian movement and co-presence at Chalmers University's Campus Johanneberg in Gothenburg, Sweden. The study was commissioned by Chalmersfastigheter and Akademiska Hus. A week-long survey was conducted capturing Wi-Fi signals from mobile phones to track pedestrians along paths and at nodes. Spatial analysis was also used to understand how the campus layout influences movement patterns. The study aims to understand current patterns and how they relate to spatial structure, and to assess expected changes to patterns based on the university's 2050 development plan. Key findings from the survey and spatial analyses are presented along with conclusions and plans for next steps.
