Demonstration of Digital/ Analog Radio-over-Fiber Reconfiguration under SDN-enabled Optical Crosshaul Architecture

Hybrid Analog/Digital(A/D) Radio-over-Fiber(RoF) has gained traction as an efficient way to implement mobile crosshaul systems. While most effort focuses on co-transmission of A/D signals, reconfigurable system provides new dimensions to optimize the crosshaul. In this work, we demonstrated optimal reconfiguration of SDN-enabled optical crosshaul between analog and digital transmissions.
