An Incremental Spectral Interface for Real-Time Fluid–Acoustic Coupling
Övrigt konferensbidrag, 2026

Real-time hydroacoustic prediction requires effcient transfer of transient CFD pressure fluctuations to acoustic solvers, but conventional CFD–acoustic coupling repeatedly performs full-history FFT processing. This study develops an automated coupling framework using incremental FFT and point-wise parallelization. The incremental FFT updates acoustic excitation spectra using only newly completed signal blocks while preserving the full-history spectral estimate, and parallelization accelerates independent pressure histories at different monitoring points. Validation shows that the framework preserves acoustic pressure fields and boundary excitation, achieving a maximum speedup of 6.28×. The method provides an effcient and scalable solution for real-time hydroacoustic simulation.
