Huadong Yao
Hua-Dong Yao är forskare på avdelningen Strömningslära. Hans akademiska bakgrund omfattar turbulensmodellering för LES (Large Eddy Simulation) tillämpad på Aeroakustik (doktorand), Aero-Vibro-Akustik och FSI (Fluid-Structure Interaction). Ett av hans nuvarande forskningsintressen fokuserar på strömningsinducerade buller genom hybridmetoder som kombinerar akustisk analogi, CFD metoder och FEM. Exempel på detta är flygbuller (höglyftanordningar och landningsstället), vindbuller från fordonen (utanför och inuti kabiner), fläktbuller och propellbuller. Ett annat aktuellt intresse är FSI genom starkkopplingspartitionerade numeriska metoder. Ett exempel är whiplash nervskada som är orsakade av impulsivt blodtryck. Hans senaste nya intressen är växellådors tribologi och psykoakustik för strömningsinducerade buller.
