Synthesis and structural and optical properties of ZnO micro- and nanostructures grown by the vapour–liquid–solid method
Artikel i vetenskaplig tidskrift, 2006

ZnO micro- and nanostructures have been grown by the catalytic vapour–liquid–solid method on silicon and silicon carbide. These micro- and nanostructures were characterized by scanning electron microscope, x-ray diffraction and photoluminescence measurements. The characterization shows that the ZnO nano- and microrods grown have diameters of around 200 nm on the Si substrates and 600 nm when using the SiC substrates. The length ranges from 0.5 to 10 μm.
