Modeling and Control System of Wind Power Plants with Pumped Storage Hydro Power Plant

Wind power plants (WPP) are now frequently discussed as a renewable source of energy. The change of wind speed changes the electric power of these plants, which should be causes oscillations in power system. To suppress oscillations influence in the performance of WPP, we decided for the cooperation with pumped storage hydro power plant (PSHPP). The aim of this paper is to create an active power control for model of WPP and PSHPP.
