A numerical analysis of the random-LOS measurement accuracy for vehicle applications
Paper i proceeding, 2018

A simulation investigation of a Random-LOS measurement setup is performed. The standard deviation in the measurement zone is calculated as a function of the measurement zone size and position in front of the array. It has been found that the measurement zone can be extended from 2 m to 9 m in front of the measurement antenna with a maximum radius of 0.5 m if a maximum standard deviation of 1 dB is acceptable. Tapering of the elements in the chamber antenna array helps to improve the performance on an expense of the maximum quiet zone radius.
