Henrik Ringsberg

Henrik Ringsberg has a non-stipendiary Associate Professor decree (oavlönad Docent) in Maritime Logistics and holds a position as a Lecturer in the Division of Maritime Studies, Department of Mechanics and Maritime Sciences. He is the program director of the international master’s program Maritime Management (MPMAR) at Chalmers.

He is the examiner of and teaches in several courses in the MPMAR program (https://www.chalmers.se/en/education/find-masters-programme/maritime-management-msc/), and the profile track Intermodal Transports in the bachelor’s program International Logistics (https://www.chalmers.se/utbildning/hitta-program/internationell-logistik-teknologie-kandidat/)

Henrik Ringsberg is active in research within several areas that relate to maritime logistics, e.g., informatics, risk and safety, intermodal and multimodal transport, AI, sustainability, traceability, tracking and transportation. He has been a member of the Nordic Logistics Research Network (NOFOMA, since 2011), The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT UK, since 2011), World Conference on Transport Research Society (WCTRS SIG B3, since 2016), , and industrial networks (e.g., Orust kretsloppsakademi). Henrik has collaborated with researchers in the European Union (e.g., UK, Norway, The Netherlands, Greece, Denmark, Finland) and China since 2014. He is also a reviewer of International journals in supply chain management, logistics, transport, IT, city-planning and food-related research.
