RESEARCH
My research focuses on intercultural communication within engineering education; globally networked communities; and content and language integrated learning. My PhD project is entitled “Home and international engineering students’ experiences of intercultural group work”.
TEACHING
I am a university lecturer in Intercultural Communication, TESOL and Academic Writing with over 20 years’ experience at all levels, ages and abilities. I have been examiner and course leader for a range of courses from 1st year undergraduate to PhD to staff to company training. I have led a number of pedagogical projects including intercultural communication; student writing guide; online learning materials and integrated courses.
