Nitesh Raj Jaladurgam

Doctoral Student at Microstructure Physics

Nitesh completed his masters from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) and joined for PhD with Dr. Magnus Hörnqvist Colliander. For masters thesis, he worked on dynamic recrystallization and microstructure evolution of Ni base superalloy Hastelloy C-276. For PhD, his focus is to determine the deformation mechanisms of high temperature materials (Superalloy and High entropy alloy) using in-situ neutron diffraction techniques. He is also part of SwedNess, which is a graduate school providing research training in neutron scattering and is operated by six Swedish universities, with the aim to strengthen Sweden's long-term competence and competitiveness within the area. The school is fully funded by The Swedish foundation for strategic research (SSF).
