Johannes Hansson
Johannes is a doctoral student at the Department of Mechanics and Maritime Sciences, Division of Fluid Dynamics. His research focuses on sensor soiling, with the goal of developing an experimentally validated recurrence computational fluid dynamics (rCFD)-solver for virtual prediction of sensor soiling for vehicle applications. This research makes it possible for vehicle manufacturers to plan external design and sensor placement in order to minimize the negative effects of sensor soiling, an important aspect in the development of driver support systems and self-driving vehicles.
