Asma Manai

Visiting Researcher at Structural Engineering

Asma Manai is an Postdoc in the Division of Structural Engineering, in the research group Lightweight Structures, at Chalmers. Asma has her PhD in 2018 from Sorbonne University France in fatigue damage of metallic structures. My research topic is within the field of "steel structures and computational mechanics”. In particular, my focus is fatigue damage modelling of metallic structures, and numerical implementation. This includes modelling, synthesis, characterization and evaluation of the material properties during the service life of structures. The modelling includes both the use of finite element analyses, and analytical work.
