Massimiliano Mauri

Massimiliano obtained his B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry in 2010 and his M.Sc. in Chemistry in 2012, both at Università degli Studi dell’Insubria (Como, Italy) with full marks and honors. He has considerable experience in Polymer Chemistry and Ziegler-Natta Catalysis, in particular in the design and synthesis of new polymers of industrial interest and polymerization catalysts. From Jan-2013 to Dec-2014 he worked at CNR-ISMac (Milan, Italy) in collaboration with a company as prestigious as Eni-Versalis (San Donato, Italy) at the development of new catalysts for the synthesis of highly stereoregular polydienes and α-olefins copolymers. Since Jan-2015 he is a PhD student at Chalmers (Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering), working on Polyethylene cross-linking. The project is carried out in close collaboration with Borealis AB (Stenungsund, Sweden), world leading company concerning insulation and semiconducting materials for extra high-voltage electrical cables.
