Rubén Mocholí Montañés

Visiting Researcher at Chalmers, Space, Earth and Environment, Energy Technology

Rubén Mocholí Montañés is Postdoctoral Researcher at the Division of Energy Technology at Chalmers University of Technology. Rubén works with emission reductions and flexible operation of thermal power plants and energy intensive industrial processes. The work includes process modelling as well as process simulations. Rubén is involved in the EU Horizon 2020 project Torero. The project will demonstrate a cost-, resource-, and energy-efficient technology concept for producing bioethanol from a wood waste feedstock, fully integrated in a large-scale, industrially functional steel mill. Besides his research, Rubén is co-supervisor of MSc and PhD Theses.
